I am new to the forum and new to Ford COE’s. I recently bought a ‘40 COE project. It needs new split windshield glass which I can get online BUT—I also need both left and right windshield glass frames as my two are quite rusted…
Can anyone on the Forum help me find these frames?
Welcome to the FTE! Love COE's. Can't help you with the windshield frames but I can offer a couple of suggestions. First, post some photos of your project. We love photos. Second, consider adding at least your general location to your profile. You never know when a fellow member might be just one town away who can offer help, etc. Third, try Chuck's Trucks, LLC in Hamden, CT for parts for your COE. Thanks much for your suggestions. I will follow upon the glass! Biggest problem is finding a replacement elliptical grille and shell. You probably know that COEs and trucks did not share the same shaped grille. Frustrating! This is where I’m starting from… Another view. Plan to lower down 3 inches or so…

Yes some of the parts for trucks are hard to find. Bet there are the rust free parts setting out west some where?

I’m thinking dark blue bed and lower cab and light blue upper cab and front shell that surrounds the grille.
Still can’t find the original shaped front shell, elliptical grille and windshield window frames. If you’ve got any ideas of where to find these things—let me know.
