Any kind of additive that can be added to the fuel in the tank to prevent the foaming that occures during re-fueling? It's a real bite in the to stand at the pump and put another 2 1/2 gallons in, at the rate of a teaspoon full at a time I have never heard of any thing but though I might ask since this is my first Diesel and have encountered this problem every time I fill up. Thanks

I'm not sure if it works on a Superduty, but it works on the older body style like mine, to drive the left rear wheel up on a 4X4 to elevate that corner of the truck. It will enable you to fill up faster, and get more in. There are also some aftermarket filler necks, and filler neck mods that can be done to speed things up a little. Do a search under "harpoon".
I fill up on the slowest speed it will do on auto...gives the fuel time to foam down and let more in. It actually saves time rather than having to set there and keep clicking it off.
I don't think any kind of additive would help the situation. The problem is with the new fuel and the filling process. Could be my imagination....but it seems like the fuel foams more when it's hot outside vs. when it's cooler. I've been fueling during the evenings the last few times and it seems to go faster.
I agree with "Fisher_of_Man" about fueling slower, it saves time in the long run.
