This is what the additional hardware looks like. They come 4 to a pack, MSRP is $6 on the screws, $10 for the U nut clips.

I just bought an assortment box on Amazon a few years back for short money. It is good to have on hand as there are always some of them breaking off when you work on a vehicle these days.

I see you posted the images for the clips and screws regarding this topic from the ford parts site. Would you happen to have the part number for the clips and screws handy that you could share with us.

Thanks

While the parts site is great for finding parts and diagrams, in my experience, it usually only provides a partial part#. I'll post the link incase the part# is complete. Also, the partial may be helpful in finding the actual part#.

Under related parts you will find the additional hardware. HM3(Part#: W708991) and HS2(Part#: W712559)

IMO you are better off with the plastic “tree” fasteners. That way there is no worries about scratched paint or the dielectric effect between the aluminum and steel fastners.

This is the one that I bought. It has some of the tools but there are plenty of other choices without tools if you just need the fasteners.

Looks like...like I said, the Ford parts site generally only shows a partial part#. The clip for example, add -S439 to the end and you now have the complete part#. Follow the link I posted previously and compare the part# given for the actual trim piece compared to the part# in the first post.

FWIW, everything that these filler trim pieces attach to is painted steel - IIRC all part of the front bumper support.

Here are the complete part numbers and official names for the hardware:

W712559-S900 Fender Liner Screw
W708991-S439 Fender Liner U-Nut

These are sold by Ford in packs of 4. So you need 2 packs of 4 to have 8 screws and 8 U-nuts. From the OP it sounds like the filler trim comes with at least 2 but I went ahead and ordered 8 just in case I only get one or zero with my filler trim pieces LOL.

Just to clarify for others who might not want a bunch if extras....the way I see it is that each trim piece has 4 attachment points, 2 are plastic push pins(included)and the other 2 use a clip and screw. So 1 package of clips(4 pc.) and 1 pack of screws(4 pc), should do both sides, although it appears the online dealer sources sell them individually....if the included plastic push pins are missing, that would be some other unknown part#.

I hate using those clips on anything but plastic as they scratch the Finnish and create an access point for corrosion to start.

Reference the front wheel well liner kit (HC3Z-16F099-A) and the filler parts (HC3Z16E206A and HC3Z-16E207A). I don't need the hardware kit for the liners themselves, just for the fillers?
Also, would there be any concern for being able to get to your front shocks with the full kit installed. I am on the fence about replacing my shocks. While the rear well liners look great and work well, I don't see any issues about trapping must and the like. Could the same be said for the front liner kit?

The liners come with all necessary hardware and instructions. They do not interfere with access to shocks. They cover the same area as the existing cloth type liners.
