Any idea what this rubber confetti looking stuff could be it is new doesn't appear to be belt or harmonic balancer related it is primarily on the passenger side
Although, I have fired a firearm during a burglary attempt
Sous! You were part of an armed robbery? I had no idea you had such a sketchy past!
Joking, joking, joking of course!!! I know you were on the good side of the law but couldn’t pass up the opportunity to pick on you due to the way it was worded. Especially after reading this.

Full disclosure, the quotes are intentionally cut short and used out of context to bring out the teasing aspect of my post.
Sorry JDW. I have nothing helpful to add related to the actual topic. So I stick with random dad jokes.
The humor is much appreciated. The first day I was very angry and ready to goto war. The second day I was upset then angry again when I got the bill from the impound lot. Felt like I got robbed twice. But after a 12 hour shift at work on about a hour of sleep I started to find the humor in it. I learned a valuable lesson or 2 mainly to protect all my assets big or small. And never assume that my 570k turd doesn't appeal to anyone but myself.
And yes I was thinking multiple kill switches I know if they want to steal it they will I figure 1 for fuel pump 1 for pcm and one for starter all in different locations lol. I also set up a new surveillance system at the house and upgraded my insurance so I won't have to foot the bill again.
It is very easy to wire a switch down to the electric fuel pump. Helped a friend do this.
Yes I am familiar with how to. I figure I'll go overkill and do the pcm aswell. Locate both switches in different locations. Like i said earlier nothing will stop them if they want it.
That was my guess aswell they were clearly not the brightest as they broke both my doors trying to get in. On the passenger side they jammed the screw driver into the lock cylinder after breaking the handle open. On the driver side they lost the lock cylinder somewhere in the door. It looks like they crawled thru my back glass in the end. Also the evidence report states the tow strap was hooked to my tail pipe. I hope that was incorrect because I have a gooseneck setup and a receiver hitch
Also good news got the starter warrantied out so no cost for me just time.

Good news the truck is running again. Everything seems ok(fingers crossed). I'm sure im going to need a new ignition switch. My key will still turn it but will not start the truck I have to jump the Solenoid to get it to crank. Would this be due to a faulty ignition switch or possibly a relay? If so anyway to test without a voltmeter? Such as swapping 1 relay for another to see if it will crank?
I’d start with changing the ignition switch since it’s needed anyhow. They’re pretty cheap at the parts store. But… since you need door locks too I wonder where you can get the entire set keyed the same? Maybe local parts store can order?
