I recently purchased a 1966 F100 with a stock 352. The manual choke is not connected and The carburetor is a Holley. The truck runs very well but am just curious if this is an original carburetor or aftermarket?
It'll be aftermarket for F-series trucks. Pretty sure it was Autolite 2100 or 4100 carb as standard. Only specific high performance cars came with a Holley from the factory. Unless I'm missing something. Anyone?
Not sure how it is with Holley vs Autolite carbs, but Autolite 2100’s or 4100’s with manual choke and in good rebuildable condition are getting more difficult to find. If you change it out, someone will want that manual choke version.
My 65 w/ the 352/390 has the Holley and runs fine for past numerous years, not familiar with the Autolite, as for the Holley IMO bout as basic carb as it gets and relatively easy to work on and/or rebuild?

The Autolite is actually more basic, I still have one on a 302, great carbs. My others have been replaced with newer Holleys,
