Hey everyone,
I recently inherited a 1995 F150. My grandfather had the ignition switch cylinder replaced before he passed. The problem now is since he had that done, the anti theft goes crazy if you unlock and open the door. Does anyone have any ideas? The truck is pristine and there was never an issue before replacing the ignition switch.
Well, that ignition key is not chipped so you need to look past that. Most likely there was a fob on the keyring with the original key that armed/disarmed the system. When I used to work towing/repos, that was the number one thing; no fob to disarm, alarm goes off.

I have both original key fobs...with brand new batteries...but that would make sense if I didn't have them .
