66 fender liners

I don’t normally take my truck out in the rain, too many leaks around the doors and a pain to clean up. The worst in the road grime and slime that splashes up in the engine bay from the front tires. I realize what the truck is designed for but there is always room for improvement. I would like to find or else make some tub liners to minimize the crap flying up from the tires. Anybody seen anything or have fabricated plastic liners like this?

Have you modified the body parts and removed things. I have never owned a 66 that did what you described. Mine were all nice & dry in the rain.

Completely stock AFAIK.
Here are a couple pics on the drivers side wheel well.
Unless I'm missing some sheet metal, Ford didn't do much under here to keep the muck out of the engine bay/firewall.

There should be rubber strips in those locations that will prevent the splashing

There were strips of rubber stapled on the inner fender. You can see the holes from where the staples were.
