Transmission Fluid
Good Morning!
I see that my transmission fluid is a little low in my 1978 351M Ford Ranger Lariat. I have looked online, on the auto parts stores sites, and I still cannot find a clear answer.. There are a lot of variations. Can you point me in the right direction?

77 and up use Mercon. Of course if you have never changed it, who knows what a previous owner may have put in before you. If you have an owners manual it will tell you. If you don't have an owners manual its worth getting one.
