Cargo Van: Condensation Normal?

Early morning appointment to have the tires, brakes, suspension & steering inspected (all in great shape!), I wanted to affix the travel permit to the back glass but it had a thin fine layer of condensation covering it, the inside of the windshield was the same. The windshield cleared easy enough with the defrost setting but the rear windows were slow to clear. The weather was wet with high humidity overnight and temperatures dropping 10-15 degrees by morning. The van was empty with carpet on the floor which is very dry and underneath the carpet the padding is dry as well. The rest of the inside of the van is unfinished so bare painted metal, I did not think to check those surfaces for dampness. Hadn't been driven in 2 days, normal for this type of vehicle, this type of weather? My F250 regular cab with no headliner, sliding back glass and vinyl floor does not accumulate condensation inside sitting parked next to the van.

Uninsulated E-Series do indeed "sweat". Any bare metal and even the factory rubber floor covering will show some degree of this depending of course on the weather.
