My manual references daytime running lights, but my 22 King Ranch doesn’t seem to have them. They are not standard on this trim?? - Am I missing how to turn them on?? They show as an option in my settings, and I have the box checked. I also have my light **** set to auto, which is supposed to activate them I think.
DRLs should be outlawed IMO. I see too many people driving around at night with them on thinking their headlights are on. No tail lights of course...
Two nights ago I pulled up next to a Sheriff on 64 outside of Williamsburg to tell him he had no tail lights. He gave me a thumbs up and turned his head lights on even though I was doing 90 mph next to him to get his attention lol

Isn’t there a way to add tail lights on with the DRL’s using Forscan?

I do think that would be a good feature.
I don't understand why people don't just turn on their headlights if they want drls... I guess it's the whole lazy do it for me automatically culture thing now. Make me safe...
my 19 king ranch turns the head / tail / marker lights on when the sun starts setting when in the drl mode. I have never touched the head light switch.

That's not drls. That's auto headlights. I have that also, but disabled the drl feature.
My son's XLT has auto on the headlight switch so it just stay's there. Are all trim this way? Takes care of the problem. My daughter's KIA Soul even has this feature.

it is drl, when the truck is in drive the low beam head lights are on and no tail / marker lights are on. when the day light gets low the tail / marker lights come on
DRL on LED trucks is just the front outline(halo), use forscan to turn on parking lights with DRL, it will turn on the tail lights, the orange bar in the headlight, the mirror markers, and cab lights if you have them. This applies to LED trucks, I can’t speak for halogen trucks.

My guess would be that Uncle Sugar mandates the DRL option and that laziness doesn't have a whole lot to do with it.
