Correct Master Cylinder ??

76' F250 4x4 dual piston discs up front, no cruise control

Check that your Booster is correct. The narrower fatter one pairs with the 1.25'' MC.
I don't particularly like the factory MC's, and fitted a modern aluminum/plastic one.
This one, from a 2002 F150, would fit perfectly should you wish to 'upgrade' : https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...1836&jsn=11091 (It is a 1.25'' MC even though it states 1'')

The OE 1.25'' MC has a 1/2 x 20 primary fitting and a 9/16 x 18 secondary fitting.
The 2002 F150 1.25'' MC has a 9/16 x 18 primary fitting and a 7/16 x 24 secondary fitting.
If your current MC is a 1'' bore, then you'd need a 1/2 x 20 (female) to 9/16 x 18 (male) adapter for the primary port.
If your current MC is a 1.25'' bore, then you'd still need a 1/2 x 20 (female) to 9/16 x 18 (male) adapter for the primary port, and a 9/16 x 18 (female) to 7/16 x 24 (male) adapter on the secondary port.
Adapters will work no problem, but, if you can access a tube cutter and pipe flaring tool, the MC would look neater with the correct tube nuts rather. (And you'd have one of the two required nuts already.)
