Ordered F450 22 in April. My 17 was kbb around 66. Around July it was over 70. Currently it is holding around 66 or so again. 22 is scheduled for Nov 1 and hope to see new truck around Thanksgiving.
If things hold up, and that seems to be the case, I should get close to what I paid for the 17.
I got $59500 for a '21 F250 CCSB 6.7 w 13k miles. They sold it to me 60 days prior w 8k miles for $60,500. So $1k less. And I drove it for 4k miles and didn't make a single payment on it lol.
If I would have taken it somewhere else (that didn't know what I had paid for it) I would have gotten 63-64, but because I was a repeat customer I was able to get $1250 off of MSRP (plus 2500 ford cash) so I just went with it. They are all going to get their money one way or the other.
I got over $60,000 for a 2016 DRW Lariat 6.7 CCLB 4x2 with 37,000 miles. Basically got the same as I paid for it 6 yrs ago. Dealer guaranteed the trade-in price until the new truck arrived in 5 to 6 months. However, I handed the old truck over to the Sales Manager last weekend, as during the winter it would mostly sit outside the house.
I ran mine last night after reading this and my trade-in value on my ‘17 Lariat is $9k more than I paid for it last year! Maybe it’s time to get a newer truck!

Anyone else run your truck value in the past couple of days?
Just ran KBB and it is up 2k in two days. In the process of coming to a trade in number with dealer and this could be good news.
Where on the site are you getting the trade number? First thing I noticed was "An Official Offer to Buy Your Car". I don't want to be contacted by anyone.
