Can anyone tell me how to change the teflon spacers in the springs. I just had one side done at the Ford dealer for $200.00 ($16.00) parts. Now the other side is starting to squeek. I would like to try it myself. I have a 2000 Superduty Diesel crew cab. Thanks.
$200!?!?!?!?!?! and $16 in parts???
Geeeeez, thats why i never go to the dealship (slealership)
You can just jack up the truck and support it with jack stands on the frame and then let the axle drop all the way down. Then if you cant do it by hand (at least in the front) get a screwdriver and pry (for the tront); in the rear, you might need to loosen the ubolts some and then go about doing the replacement.
