crane roller cam question
hey guys, has any one ever used cranes roller cam part #529541. in a 400M it has valve lift at .562-.586 and 216-224 duration. if you have ever delt with this cam please let me what you think of it. thanks

Dam this brings back alot of memories some that hurt to much to remember. I wish i still had this rig it was alot of fun. Especially after i did the rebuild with this cam it had tons of torque. You will definitely have to match the rest of the top end with the cam to get the full benefit from it. I still have some of the stuff timing gears, bronze dis gear, cam, push rods, fully ported heads, and stud mounted roller rockers. I maybe inclined to letting it go hell it's been sitting at least 7 years in my shop i bet this stuff doesn't even have 15 hours on it. When i did this to my truck it was a night and day difference if i had the chance to build it again i would lower my compression down to around 10:1 so i wouldn't have to run as much 100 octane in it.
