Towing capacity
Hello i have a mint 1996 f250 supercab w 7.5 A4od long bed and a 410 rear end. Trying to find my max fifthwheel towing capacity. Manual says 10,000 for trailer, more for fifthwheel but dosnt say what more is. The ford dealers and camper dealers cant answer the question either. All i know is from a leagle stand point is subtracting the weight of the truck from the gcvwr but no one can tell me the gcvwr for the truck either.

I had a 95 F250 4x2 with 4.10s with a stick and on occasion pull a Case 1845c uniloader (skidsteer) with foam filled tires, it wasn't too bad pulling.
Compared to todays trucks they look almost inept.
