Just got my 2022 F-350 and FORD changed the hitch from a 3 inch down to a 2 1/2 inch hitch. Now my B&W 3 inch and Anderson WDH are useless. Does anyone know if an earlier year 3-inch hitch is compatible? Really in a bind, Was going to take my trailer to the dealer for warranty work, but that's not happening.
That seems odd. I know mine came with a reducer installed so it looked like a 2.5" but really it was a 3". Just saying weirder things have happened, maybe you just missed the reducer installed?

instead rebuying hitches, I wonder how much you you could pickup a 3" receiver hitch and swap that out instead.
What was your previous truck? My 19 F350 6.7 CCSB has the 2.5" hitch. CCLB would have the 3". I think all F350 diesels have the 3" now.
Is your new one gas?
Pretty sure he has a Super Cab 6.7l. That's why it has the 2.5" receiver per the chart above. Did the previous years come with a 3" on the SC F-350 w/diesel, or has it always been 2.5"?
Looking at Tasca Parts it doesn't appear to be to hard to change out just the hitch on the truck. It will be harder to figure out the correct part number.
