A slight variation of a song that was popular a couple years back.

God is great.
Beer is good.
People are stupid.

I don’t need one of those any more. Retired 9 years ago after 49 years in various aspects of North America’s oil industry in North Dakota, Montana, and Wyoming. And by God’s grace came out with enough money I don’t need to put up with stupid people any more! And live 40 miles out of town!
So I don’t have to put up with egos, or ego’s, whichever is correct.

I live in a heavy rig rocket area and have several times had an older jacked up coal rolling cummins try to run me and recently a similar Gm, what I’m sure of 10 speeds and 475 factory hp vs 4-6 speeds and say 600-700 aftermarket horsepower with 35-40s is a win by my oem ford every time.

Of course, I show proper and mature restraint. But……I had one “opportunity” with a guy in a jacked up Chevy….. He might want to think twice about challenging a 6.7 PS next time he’s out cruising the interstate. This old man in a new F-450 absolutely smoked him….. LOL. I have to admit, it felt pretty good.
I hate to say it but I see plenty of Ford owners in this category too. I can tell you this - if they have deleted and hot-rodded them very much at all they will dust a factory truck. Some of them make amazing power. Too bad so many of them are also idiotic coal-rollers.

I'm amazed at how many have GIGANTIC exhaust tips installed on their rigs too. Some of them are absolutely ridiculous. Makes me wonder what they are thinking???

Depends on how hungry you are, but basically no, they are not.

My son bought my perfectly good, stock '17 F-250 in 2018 when I got a new one. He lifted it 6" & put 37's on it. As soon as he hit 100k he had it deleted & tuned. Put a funky green & black exhaust tip on it too. Checked all the boxes. That thing has crazy power. It will walk by my '20, no problem. It also gets better fuel mileage than stock. He's 27 so that explains part of it. Feeds his "ego's" I recon.

At my age I ignore these Jackwagons. I use to love in my motorcycle days when a young assclown in a Mustang or Camaro would pull beside you and rev the engine against a sport bike! Never ended well for the car driver. But if no one has noticed, we are surrounded by a multitude of morons that if breathing was not autonomic, they would die!
