I have a 2012 FX-4 with the 5.0 V8. Recently I replaced my instrument cluster. I have the back up camera in my mirror. When my truck goes in to reverse it is beeping automatically starts like when you have a trailer or are close to something. Usually you have an option to turn that off but this is no longer available. Is there a reset I can do for this?
Sounds like you need to make use of FORSCAN to turn the backup sensors off as the donor truck had that function. A dealer could do it, I’m sure, but it’s probably cheaper with FORSCAN.

Hoo-boy, that opens a can of worms! FORSCAN is a software package that, with a functioning OBDII connector, allows the average Joe to communicate with and change numerous parameters in most (if not all) the separate computer modules in his truck. F'rinstance:
on my 2013 STX 5.0 4x4, I changed the lane change signal flashes from 3 to 6. I also changed out the crappy factory fog lights with some killer LED spots so I changed a parameter so the fog lights stay on when I switch to high beams. And when I changed tire sizes my speedometer was 4-5 mph off so I fixed that with FORSCAN too.
There's a forum dedicated to it with FAQ and How-To sections to read all about it. https://forscan.org/home.html. There's also a forum to post exactly the question you asked here to see if anyone has encountered this and to find out how he/she/it fixed it. There are limitations though, it's not an all-inclusive package. With vehicles older than about 2014-2015, the number of items available for change becomes less and less. When you get back to about 2010 or so the options are very limited. And, it can be a giant PITA to get it "to work". I had to jump through hoops to get my speedometer fixed but it finally came through. I came in on the tail end of folks just figuring out some of the work-arounds so it was frustrating at times.
I don't mean to put you off from trying but if you're not a good computer guy, I highly recommend approaching a dealer or a really good trusted mechanic about this. If you check out the FORSCAN forum you'll see all the ways people have screwed it up, including turning vehicle computer modules into bricks and boat anchors.
