F150

I have a 2013 Ford f150 STX EcoBoost four-wheel drive and the 5.0 engine. Have had lots of tracks control issues done many things and many repairs with dealership. Now I just found that all of the vacuum lines that lead up to my brake booster are dry rotted I just so happen to bump my hand against some of the wire loom and saw a chunk of it fall out. The day prior to that which led me to fumbling around in there was I cut the wheel too hard to the right and made an awful noise and the next thing you know my power steering assist light comes on and now I have zero power steering in my everyday driver / work truck and I'm having to muscle it to get from place to place until I can get to my appointment that the dealership what do those vacuum lines do? what do they affect I guess is the question?

Power steering is Electric, no boost from the vacuum. Also you have a 5.0 or Ecoboost, not both
