Alrighty, in short one thing led to another and now I need to figure out a decent exhaust system. My first system I had a pair of 3 inch exhaust pipe leading from a single to dual split muffler that sounded awesome. Wasn't to loud, but not to quite either. Very heavy low grumble noise that I enjoyed. Now a week ago my exhaust got nearly beaten to death by a flailing driveshaft that almost took it out, now after hemorrhaging for nearly a month it finally fell off.
I whipped something together with some pipes I had laying around, and now it is a single 2.5 inch exhaust straight pipe, and it is way to darn loud. I cant stand it for long periods. So I need some help, I need to find a way to quite it, but it can only modify the exhaust at the end of the pipe. I have no more hanger supports so it has to be one of those resonator kind (unless someone can help me find something else). All I have right now is $50 and a pair of broken dreams. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
There are really cheap mufflers for under 50 bucks from Summit Rock Auto or local parts stores and a hanger is cheap then run a turn down on the exit of the muffler. This is a decent cheap exhaust that will work until you can have a shop redo it.
