Supposedly If you leave the truck parked with the doors locked but the windows down, the alarm (horn) will go off if someone reaches in through the window. You'll notice that there are four sensors, one pointing at each side window.
Whaaaat? Lol what the hell is motion detectors for?
FYI……If you ever find the alarm going off when the windows are up, doors locked and the alarm set……more than likely there’s a bug either crawling or flying around inside your truck.
The sensors will pick up the movement and set off the alarm.
Test drove several trucks before selecting a dealer and sales guy. On the first drive I asked the sales guy "how do you get these little LEDs to come on?"
They are moth detectors!!! It took me awhile to figure out why my truck alarm was going off for no reason until I learned that during moth season make sure to only engage perimeter alarm when shutting off and locking my truck!

Three Sensors, One is a dead space. And the Microphone is the slotted opening in the front by the lights.
Since on the topic of those sensors. Dealership said I had a faulty one and was preventing the remote start to operate properly… anyone had this issue ?
