Trip Report: Boerne Tx to Naples FL. Left out and Hurricane Ida was passing thru New Orleans. I know what hurricane traffic is like and took the high road to East of Dallas about 2 hrs and picked up I 20 skipping I 10. Spent the night in an RV park and left my trailer behind for pickup on the way back. Up till then, I was rolling at 20,460 CAT scale and I lost about 3900 lbs when I dropped off my trailer. We cruised on to Naples FL and spent 10 days looking at properties, bought a small horse property there, and headed back and stopped at the RV park and picked up my trailer and then with a layover in Dallas (Grapevine) for 7 days on business, then drove home.
