2000 F250 XLT- Adding Remote Keyless Entry
Good afternoon,
I recently acquired a 2000 Ford F250 Super Duty. It has the XLT package.
I wanted to see if anyone has ever figured out how to add on factory remote keyless entry. I have tried turning the key 5 or 8 times and there is no action from the door actuators. Meaning my truck did not come with it.
I heard its as simple as swapping the GEM but not sure.
I also know i can go aftermarket, but just like to feel of sticking OEM. I have a manual so remote start is out anyways.
