Where have they gone? I was wondering the other day after reading the Duane thread where are all the regulars who used to show up here and we never see anymore. I don’t mean the folks who drop on regularly but post occasionally. I’m referring to Rollie, Tony, Matt, and others. I know many of them are still around but just not here.
I ran into Joey over at the Hot Alma Nights car show. If I closed my eyes, I could have sworn Rollie was the one standing in front of me. It sounded just like him. It sounds like Rollie is now living in Arkansas working for a company there. Joey went through a bit of a rough patch for a while where he said he lost about 4 years of his life to recreation, but seemed to be good the other day.
I have Tony on FB, but he rarely posts.
Matt still posts on FB but mostly about farming or weather.
Hey I`m still here but not too often. I`m driving a semi over the road and am only home on the weekends so my time is precious. It`s not the career I wanted but it`s why I always kept my CDL. You never know what life will throw at you and I like to have a back up plan. I tinker with my Sequoia or even less, my Montero. Jacks passing hit me kinda hard. Might be odd for me to say as I hadn`t seen him very often since my divorce in 07. He was my mentor in things 4x4 and taught me a lot but once again, life threw me a curveball I wasn`t expecting and things really changed. Hope all is well with everyone. Love to camp with you all again some weekend and enjoy the company and a cold beverage.
We had a small GTG of guys Saturday. Looking at this thread title made me reminisce about when we might have 20-30 people at a gathering. Of course that usually included families.
