Natural wood is not what Henry ever intended for his trucks and Abe cares about how Henry felt about things. Just ask him about the various shades of white that were used for grill colors over the years. I have a natural wood cedar deck and dock and maintainance is a pain. They starts turning gray if something isn't done to them every year.
That Meadow Green 54 F600 has been on eBay for over a year. They've tried auctions, Buy it Now.... no buyers. I think they spent too much to restore it , not realizing that bigger trucks don't bring what restored F100s bring.
Avf100, sorry to highjack your thread! I hope you got the answer you were looking for. I say black rims with dog dish hubcaps. They could be the FORD hubcaps. And instead of the FORD letters being blue like in 48-50 or red like in 51-56 paint the black.
