While I understand we don't drive SD's for the luxury car ride quality, I would like tell everyone about the Sulastic Shackles. I have made numerous upgrades/changes to my F450 the Sulastic Shackles have to be one of my favorites. Coming from someone that drives a lift F450 as a daily driver with an empty bed these things drastically reduced the rock hard jarring of the rear springs on these trucks. So if any of any you FTE's are interested in improving your ride quality without giving up any of your payload these fit the bill.
I highly recommend checking them out, they are worth every penny.
I used them in the past and I am in the process of ordering now for my f-450.
there are different part numbers for various year trucks so watch out for that.
also of note...there have been a few cases of the rubber in the sulastics separating from the metal. sulastic only warranties them for 1 year and sulastic claims they will last 10 years if you change a particular bushing every 3 years.
point being this is not an install and forget system.
another option for SRW's without over leafs are the roadmaster springs. no rubber point of failure in the roadmaster springs. the road master springs hook on to the trailing edge of the shackle and bolt into the shackle ubolt area...then you adjust using shims they provide. a little more expenseive than su;lastics but the roadmasters is more of an install and forget system.
I have a drw and cant use the road masters unless U put a spacer under my overleaf and even then...might not work correctly. roadmaster recommends removal of the overleafs....blah. blah on that idea.
I have Sulastic on my 2017 DRW. 3 Years now.
A lot of rubber deterioration. Squeaky when 5th wheel loaded. Glad I save the OEM, will be reverting back when I get the time.
They did make a bit of difference on the ride, not much.

Thanks for your information, I have a 5th Wheel on order. I will definitely keep an eye on them once I start putting them under a load.
I asked sulastic about which would be right for an 2019 f-450 . To my surprise, there are two . A non adjustable and an adjustable. The non adjustable, which is the most common use one, requires a bushing change every three years. That was also a surprise to me as I had sulastic on my previous truck and there was no mention of that in any communications.
Answers to your question
"We offer two models of sulastic shackles for the F- Superduty. Preloaded version, the SA-06HDDF (with an "F" for your years 2017-2022) and the adjustable SAJ-03F. Difference are if the truck is used empty most of the time and the CURB weight is the same as from factory, then the preloaded is the correct model for your vehicle. If the curb weight has been modified with a combustible tank, tool boxes filled with tools and/or most of the time the truck is loaded with a camper, trailer, etc then the adjustable is the correct model for your truck and application."
