Hello, question the ribs on the new cab corner don't match the original. what does everyone do ?? leave the rib on the cab and cut around it then trim out the rib on the new corner and weld up ?? thanks for replies. Mark.
I lined up the rib and then pushed and shoved the new metal around to suit the rest of the corner. I had to do both corner. they came out really close. They are behind the box so only I will know for sure
Check out my build pics in my albums. On the right side if you look closely you can see that it is a little off...but as long as the bed is installed no one will ever see it.
I don't think any of the after market pieces fit properly. I had to cut mine.
I replaced all four corners on mine, plus a floor.
You can see it all in build build thread (annotated in my signature)
There's an old saying where I'm from. "beat to fit, paint to match"

I've seen your post when I've done searches on here, I was going to try to do corners like you did. should be fine on driver side but my passenger side was crunched in pretty far I pulled it out a couple inches before I started on it. I'm going to try to straighten it and see how it looks and save the hole and the rib from original. thanks
