I'm looking at purchasing an OBD to use Forscan. I'm new to this, and only want to lower tire PSI, maybe in the future would do more. Just want to get rid of the low tire pressure waring. I run tire a bit lower for a better ride.... not hauling or towing.
Here in Canada... Amazon has the ELM327 FOR $28 and the OBDlink EX for $107...ouch.
Do you really think OBDlink is that much better for what I need to do?
I'm going to jump in here, just because I am currently in the exact same situation - looking at ELM327, and then wondering about a Bluetooth one rather than wired. I don't really trust my Dashboss any more, need something up to date.
Agreed, I first bought a MX+ and it worked well for months but now is having connectivity issues with my laptop(could be the laptop).
I picked up a EX because I was tired of messing with the bluetooth issues.

I have the MX+ and not long ago had connectivity issues that at the time, made me wish I had a plug in device. In my case it was my laptop, eventually it got sorted out and resumed Bluetooth connectivity. One of the pros of the MX+ is that it, along with the included OBD LInk app, offers various monitors/gauges to be viewed wirelessly on a cell phone or other Bluetooth capable device.
