78 F150 Charging Problems
Hey guys,
I reciently bought a 78 F150 with a 351 mod under the hood. Well I have a nothing but problems with the charging system. There is a couple of broken wires and Jerry rigged stuf near the Voltage regulator. But I can't find a good wiring diagram of the system. The one in the Haynes book is totally worthless. If anybody can help. That would be great.

Hi and welcome to FTE 
I found my Haynes wiring diagram do be very accurate. I even used it when I converted my 63 over to an alt.
As far as other diagrams, you would probably need a Ford service manual from back in 78.

Check the electrical forum. Franklin2 has posted alternator wiring schematics quite a few times.
