Werid Vin tag and decode
Y = 360 2V (from '68 on) (A '66 would be a 352, unsure what code but Y was a 352 in '67)
E = Mahwah assembly plant
N60884 = 1972 series number (732,000 to 914,000 for '66)
131 = 131 inch wheelbase
G = Chrome Yellow If 6 = Bright Medium Blue. (Repainted?)
F282 = 1972 F250 Chassis & Cab 4x4 except state of PA 7,700lbs GVWR
4 8 = Custom Cab without back of cab equipment
A = New Process model 435 four speed transmission
24 = Dana model 60, 4.10 ratio, 5,250lbs capacity
No front axle code
07700 = 7,700lbs GVWR
156 4000 = 156 certified net HP @ 4000 RPM
17 = Washington District Code
Does this match up with the truck?
Could this have been a door or body swap?
Why does he think it's a '66 when the title and warranty plate say '72?
The tag you found will mismatch the VIN as it's a factory build tag if I have understood previous comments about these tags correctly. But I'm not sure on how much of a mismatch. This would be F100 vs F250.
Is yours a pickup or something else behind the cab?
