I figured it out. I found a site were I entered my Vin # and it gave my build sheet. I can't remember the site but it wasn't hard to find.
I hear that Ford in its effort to give us better service, sold off that VIN data that you got in the past, to a company that now makes us pay to see it. All that to give us better service. And they stopped selling parts to fix our trucks too. I guess that's better service? And that stupid **** to shift instead of a shifter, and the dumb electric cars, oh boy what service. At least you can read your sticker. Here is mine below. The spring code area is rubbed off. I can see that axle code is F2 but the VIN decoder on FTE does not list that. I found on blueovaltrucks that it's an LS with 4.10s in the pumpkins. Joy is mine as I tow a lot. Because my truck is FX4, the leafs are different, or so I hear. FTE says it should be single front leaf, but I have double leafs up front, for example.
Your spring code is V for the front and C for the rear. I know U,V,W and X code fronts are all 2 spring packs. IDK about the other front codes and IDK any of the rear codes.
I don't think any of the 99-04 trucks came with a single front spring, i think they were all 2 springs.
