The attachment of the mounting brackets to the lights was a real PITA, someone really had their head up their wazoo when they designed them.
But, I got them on, and they work, we'll see just how bright they are this weekend.
Hooked to the #1 switch, and getting that done was a treat in itself. Ford has improved the access to the switch wires, but they could still be lots better.
Is this on a ‘22? I was looking at the owners manual and it appears they’ve got 2 sets of wires behind the battery, one marked with a red dot and one set marked with a white dot. Apparently the one with the white dot is already routed through the firewall and behind the kick panel on the passenger side. My thoughts is that this is easier to connect things like a resistor for high idle. Am I correct?

I believe you have to connect those pass-through wires to the upfitter switch wires at the fuse box to power them up.

Ah ok. So I’d need to get 2 short pieces of wire to go from the wires at the fuse box to the wires behind the battery, and the resistor would be installed behind the kick plate?

Yes, the resistor gets tied into the customer access bundle which is separate from the pass-through wires but also behind the passenger kick panel. One wire from that ties to a pass-through wire of your choice, then you wire that to the upfitter wire of your choice.

Perfect. That’s the info I was looking for. Thanks!!!👍🏻
Question re: the pass-through wires. I found the one end of the pass-through wires (4 of them) in the passenger kick panel area. Where in the engine bay can I find the other end? I'm trying to hook into the upfitter relay box for my High Idle resistor mod.
