'New' Lightning

Saw a quick blurb on tv where Joe Gibbs Performance has reinvented the Lightning. Lo and behold there was a black 1/2ton standard cab pickup decked out with a Eaton blown small block. It also had a reincarnated Ford oval with JGP lodo in the middle for badging. Mr. Gibbs said he always wanted a pickup with more power, handling and performance.
It looks to me like Mr. Gibbs is a closet Ford man.
Maybe he should have bought a production Lightning and got a warranty with it.
