I could be wrong but it sounds like the OP had the entire bed sprayed but he or she is only interested in a bit of extra padding and maybe a bit more grip from some type of pad for the actual bed floor.
BEDRUG does make such an item without having to cover the entire bed and it’s right at $100.00 dollars or so.
The Ford accessories rubber mat is made for the SD so no worries about fitment.
I prefer rubber mats on top of sprayed in liners. It gives some protection and shock absorption. Luckily I saved mine from my 05. It's a factory 05 Super Duty bed mat. Slightly longer wheel well in my 2020, but works fine.
Maybe I'm weird, but I have a 1/2" sheet of Road-sign Plywood in mine. The stuff is impervious to snow and water, and I can easily pull it out along with whatever is on top of it. I call it my "Load Management System".

Either item would be a great choice.
Great feedback…. And yes, I’m only looking to cover the bed floor for some additional protection and grip. I’ll have a gooseneck trailer hitch as well. The Ford brand using points sounds interesting…. Now I need to find out how the points work. Will I receive those quickly after taking delivery of my truck?
DeeZee heavyweight rubber bed and tailgate mats. DZ87012 $103.99 + tax, DZ86700 $43.99 + tax, free Prime shipping from Amazon. In my opinion, best values there are for the money in bed mats, very heavy duty.

Points are usually applied not very long after one takes delivery of their vehicle from a dealer.
Make sure you have your Owner.Ford.com account setup as well as having FordPass setup.
Your points will show up on both locations.

No, you’re not weird,
Asl long as it fits your needs and does what you want it to do, that’s all that matters.
I had the bed Line-X'd and installed a Bedrug and cut out the holes for the 5th wheel hitch. The Bedrug is the way to go - eliminates any chance of knee pain - it's not nearly as hard or as hot as a rubber mat or the spray-in liner alone
