Engine identification

I am trying to identify the engine in a 1975 F500, would appreciate any suggestions.
I have searched both sides of the block and found no casting number.
So far have not been able to locate an ID tag.

What is the 4th digit of the VIN? That will tell the OEM engine.

The most common V8 engine used in the F-500 and F-600 was the 330 or 331HD

MD (code C) or HD /XD (code D), they are 330s, not 331.

300 six is code B.
