Clutch Arm Bushing?? REVISED

1955 F250…I posted this earlier labeling it Brake lever/arm. It is the clutch arm!!

Does the clutch arm have a bushing in it? I have looked very closely and I can’t tell if there is one in there or not….

In the second picture it sort of looks like there is one but only sort of…

The parts detail isn’t clear. I think the bushing it shows goes into the mounting bracket tube, not the arm itself. I can’t find a picture or part number in the parts diagram or mid fifty parts book.

If there is a bushing it needs a large hole in it for the retaining pin to pass through. 3rd Pic…

Part 5344? Looks like it goes in the bracket not the arm.

Nothing in catalogue referencing it.

Not an expert on the 55 F250 but sure looks like a worn out bushing to me,,,, try a socket or drift pin and see if ya can tap it out.

F250 and F100 are the same configuration.

Ok….I believe there is no bushing since the shaft and arm are locked together with the set pin.

When I get the new shaft I will see how it fits and hopefully the hole in the arm isn’t distorted.
