Rear Differential Cover

Has anybody used an aftermarket differential cover? I am thinking about going with the new Banks diff cover and I just wondered if anybody had any experience with it.

Thank you,

While the Banks part is soooooooo wonderfully "over engineered" I'm not sure the average driver would greatly benefit from its use. I like the Yukon Gears "better" cover as found here:

I bought one for under $120 shipped from an outfit that might have had them in an over stocked situation. I'm sure they're still out there for a great price with a little keyboard shopping!

I'm not against the Banks Power part---I just wonder if it's cost is justified for most people?

I have to use my truck to haul equipment from jobsite to jobsite. Equipment like Scissor lifts and a small lull. About 10,000 lbs. That is why I am asking about this. My truck has about 300,000 miles on it. Trying to make it last a lot longer.

I understand that but honestly I don't think a $400 MSRP differential cover is the most effective way to achieve that goal. Refreshing the factory specified differential oil is a good idea though however with that many miles you may need to completely remove the existing cover and work the drain plug loose---they tend to almost rust or corrode themselves in place after a long time without being removed.
