I am going to change out the belt, tensioner and idler pulley. 1994 E150 Club Wagon 5.8L w/factory air
Belt;(Gates fleetrunner green HD)
Tensioner; (Motorcraft BT37),
when I looked for the Idler pulley, the Motorcraft one I found (Motorcraft YS385), said "Pulley Assy Used w/ Drive Belt Tensioner Assy; w/ 60 Amp ALT". My alternator is a Bosch 130 amp. Can I still use this Motorcraft idler pulley or should I look for a different one? I don't do my own work but my local mechanic is fine with me bringing in my own parts.
