1987 F150 4x4, I just got done swapping out the C6 for and AOD, and in the course of doing the swap, I broke the little plastic wear slide/bushing thing that goes on the arm coming off the transfer case.
And the little square plastic bushing goes into that "fork" on the right, in the picture.
Does anybody happen to have a Part number for that little bushing/slider? I've been through every parts manual I've got access to, including official ford publications, and I've not been able to find a part number.
Well, I should say it's pointing me in the right direction. The ones I'm getting from googling that number, both the steel/rubber and nylon ones that are coming up, don't look anything like the one that I've still got half of.
Hmm That diagram is for Borg-Warner 13-56 Transfer Case--Manual Shift. This '87 shop manual also has info on B-W 1345 and the B-W 13-56 electronic shift (but I'm guessing that's not you).
No, it's definitely a 1356, I ran across a ranger station post, that shows basically the same bushing. It'd be easy to reproduce if I had a lathe/mill, but sadly I don't.
Hot Dog. Just by sheer chance, somebody posted a breakdown on another thread, that referenced this Assembly, and had some different Reference numbers on it.
The part I was looking for is a
3L5Z-7335-AA Roller
Tascaparts still had some sitting around, so I ordered up 2 of them, just to have a spare.
Just thought I'd make sure to toss this update on this thread, in case anybody comes looking in the future.

What material is yours made of? The one that came with a t-case I salvaged long ago was actually metal, pretty sure aluminum based on the pitting and white corrosion I seem to remember.
