I'm hoping that this will not initiate a PTBA bashing, or "learn to back it up" thread. I know how to back up a trailer. But I paid for this feature and I want it to work.
I went through the set up on my 2022 Platinum/bumper pull RV and it achieved calibration. But when I start to use it I get "trailer not detected" message. I reset the set up, same thing. The sticker is readily visible on the camera. There is no cable impeding the camera's view.
I did a number of searches and found others having similar issues, but with no resolution.
Any ideas?
Also, can I use the yaw sensor on the bumper pull trailer? Same thing, no good search results. My harness does have the yaw sensor cable, as I was sort of anticipating that I would need it.

Of course I can't find the YouTube video when I want it, but, I saw a Canadian guy with a late F-150 (2021?) who installed the yaw sensor on his bumper pull dump trailer. It seemed to work. It made me think Ford was going to do way with stickers and go to yaw sensors only.
Maybe you can find that one. Good luck.
Engineer friend used to say "One good test is worth a thousand expert opinions." Try it.

Seems like I have read the truck may not detect the trailer unless the truck is running (or "ON"?) when you plug it in. But since my truck is supposed to be being built today I have no fist hand experience. Something to try, though.
How's the sticker placement? When you put the truck in reverse and look at the tailgate camera view, are you able to observe all the squares on the sticker through the display?
I did see the 2021 F150 yaw sensor video, but it's not clear if it will work with a SD. One would hope that there is a high degree of electronics and software commonality between the F series platforms, but that's just a guess.
I think I will look for a used yaw sensor and give it a try. New ones are around $500, a lot to spend on a guess.

For what it's worth, my 2022 F-250 Lariat with PTBA came with yaw sensor kit LC3T-14G621-AD in a bag just like the video. I won't have my RV for another 2 to 3 weeks so I can't comment on install or use yet.
I have a yaw sensor that my came with my sons truck. My 21 F250 with the PTBA used the stickers. I pick up my 22 tomorrow and will see if it comes with a yaw sensor. If it doesn’t I will try my sons. If it does, I am curious how that will hook up with my existing trailer TPMS.
