Coil spring removal?

Anyone know what size that big nut is on the I beams? Sticks in my head as around 30mm, but been years since I pulled 'em.

Thanks!

...ooooor someone could help this post *****!

Found a JY truck with front bar. The 88 and 92 both require this. Also found one with half ton factory aux leaves, so totally going on the 92!

Furthermore, I use a potato phone with a cracked and bleeding screen. Thus, searching is difficult at best.

Thank you, drive through.

Eric has been on here since 2002 and has almost 4k posts. I think he knows what he asks after being here so long and having a huge community as a resource. He is using his resources. Do you know the answer or were just helping him get to another forum?

My truck has 4wd I beams on leaf springs, and I know Eric's 2wd dually has I beams on coils.

There are plenty of folks with 2wd PSDs in this forum.....

I stand corrected...just had never seen one. I just saw he was asking about a 1992 and this forum usually deals with 1994.5 to 1997.
Hopefully someone with one will answer his question.

Yah. 2x4 trucks have I beams...my dually does as pointed out. I have swapped mine for Moog prog rates years back and forgot what size the socket required is to perform this procedure. Yes, I need to know for my 4.9 but irrelevant as applicable to us.

Figured easier to get a correct answer here where we are a small community versus the generic 80-96 section.
