12 is perfect. Gotta clearly define all required actions though!
Up (and wait for me to initiate a pedal press)
Down slowly
Down and hold (hold until I say otherwise)
Up
Down firmly
Pump them up
repeat these until done on each wheel.
These cover most of mine...
We will see because after our foray outside to wash mommy's car I may wonder a little. I had him vacuum the inside of her car because it is always full of dirt. Pig Pen must be a friend. When he said he was done in the front I looked and said no you're not by a long shot. He said I didn't do a good job did I and I said it was only fair. I won't give you an A if you don't deserve it and make you think you did well. He then went back to it but his attention span goes elsewhere at times. I started detailing cars when I was 13 and a dealer wanted to hire me after they saw their loaner come back until my father told them I was 13. So then had him rinse the microfiber mitts out. That took 15 minutes to do two of them. Then when it came to dumping the water out of the 5 gallon paint container of 12 years he managed to split it up the side. So as to your suggestion hmm............................

I feel for you. My dad would not have been so nice. It would have been the last time you did anything remotely fun. We never did anything for a reward and work was non negotiable. Tough Love builds character.
Well going back over the lines is now academic as there is still a leak, as it sits, from the pressure control valve on the distribution block that I cannot stop. This is the one part of the block that comes with the block and I have noting to do with it. My four lines into it along with the brake light switch are leak free. Looks like I'll have to toss this block which means opening up the system.

My wife was talking about YouTube to me trying to explain something but called my 12 year old out instead. He then goes into a long dialogue on how one monetizes their videos on YouTube and how the advertising works that I asked him if he worked for YouTube's marketing department. He doesn't so I told him to get busy as he has 5 more years before he goes to college. He may not know a lot about cars, but computers, video games, cellphones operation, and YouTube to name a few things he is way, way ahead of me and others.
I like to use my pressure pot to bleed the brakes. Holds up to a gallon which is usually way more than enough and no helper needed. Just open the brake cylinder bleeder and let it run until no bubbles come through. Starting from cylinder farthest from the master as usual.

Mine is a tall container that can be used to create suction or just for gravity if the valve is left wide open exhausting the vacuum. Had it for 20 years and have used it on all my cars as on the truck twice with the last way leaving the bleeder valve open. Yet with that subtle leak in the block with no constant braking pressure on it I don't trust the system. If it turns out to be the Achille's heal on a second one it won't leave me many other options. One could say get a different block and then have to make eight lines to get four that seal or dump it all and use a single pot and use one the the good lines re-purposed. I wanted a brass block but there was nothing for drum only brakes that I saw.

That's because you don't need a proportioning valve on a drum/drum setup. The difference in wheel cylinder size takes care of that. One line with a T for the fronts and one line with a T (usually on the rear axle) for the rears. A pressure differential switch can be installed if you want to know when one circuit has a leak.

I would have preferred a 5 port Ford distribution block if one was available (hard to find) but had to settle for the 5 port with the valve.
