Howdy guys! Busy day at work for then I get to play Maytag repairman tonight. Wifes washing machine at her salon is no longer draining.
same with ours. its a kenmore so getting the "OE" taking to long to drain. It is not that old. My mom bought it new, used it for a year maybe, didn't like it because she said she couldn't get the mildew smell out. So she got a top loader and gave us this one. I stored it in my barn for a year or so as I limped the ours along. My wife finally forced me to change them out. Only been using it for a year or so and now it is hit or miss if it will finish a load or stop mid way with the error. These front loaders are garbage. Way too expensive and very low dependability. Stupid to have all the electronics is nothing but problems. Everyone knows that electronics play well in vibration and damp environments Plus the drum bearings don't last long. Lucky to get 5-10 years before dumping major money into them. I was going to get a new pump assembly to try that but she bought a new washer/dryer set. The current dryer has been going for 18years anyways. the washer we bought with it made it to around 15-17 but had done a lot of work to it to keep it going. when the rear bearing goes, it typically ruins the laundry in that load because the grease gets into the wash drum
