It was something along the lines of single cab, 3.5EB, rear wheel drive XL...maybe with the 8' bed.
Not to go all “well, akshully”, but I believe the highest rated payload for HDPP came with the 5.0 in your mentioned configuration. I think the Eco sheds 40 lbs from the rating just because...it’s heavier.

As for actual highest towing cap, that has to be a SCrew 6.5’ bed. You just have more vehicle to pull with.

Sounds like the guy is just repeating a catch phrase the salesman used on him.

Maximum towing is this configuration....per Ford.
Max payload appears to be with the 5.0.

Didn't seem reasonable to me, but I did not question the post. My usual saleman at my Ford dealership was unaware of such, but usually I have to tell him about vehicle capabilities.
Is there such an option?
All F150’s are built to tow but some can be built / configured from the factory via the B&P feature that will allow one F150 to tow more than another.

@Robbgt maybe you can post a pic the payload decal in the door jamb? That would be helpful to some looking into the HDPP.

Not my truck, was quoting @Toga1116 above and mentioning what a unicorn that configuration is.

Sorry for any confusion

You will likely never find another without months of searching far and wide.
