I am replacing the clutch in my ‘62 F-100 , T-98, 4WD and cannot seem to find what looks like a good replacement. The one I pulled is 10 1/2 “ but all I seem to find are 10 or 11” res available. I tried to do a thread search but got a bunch of BS not related to anything. The flywheel is getting resurfaced so not in hand. Anyone see this size and will the 11” pressure plate bolt right in?
still waiting on the rest of the engine machine work. One cylinder was bad and had to go .030 over. Hopefully before the snow gets too deep!
I got a Luk clutch set for my '62 292 from John Mummert. Mine is specific to the T5 I am putting in. 1 1/16" 10 spline. John also lists a 1 3/8 10 spline which is what my T-98 would have used... Maybe try him. Back to home page
Here you go. If you do an advanced search for a part number use as few words as possible, don't tag it. The more words you use the less chance you will get anything back. And use NumberDummy as the user. Bill posted about every part number there ever was at sometime or another. Part Number Confirmation - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums (ford-trucks.com)
Another update after visiting all of the parts stores- a 10 1/2” clutch and pressure plate is not available at any of the common parts stores. I was told they are no longer manufactured. There is nothing available in AK as well in the 11” model. I do not know if the pressure plate for the 11” will match the 10 1/2. I am contacting John M now as well.
I've been beating my head against the wall trying to figure out a replacement 10.5" for my '62 M100 Mercury. The 10.5" is very hard to find for my 10-spline, 1-1/16" shaft to a 1TR-7003 A L/D 3-speed transmission. I was starting to go through RockAuto's Fords of the same year to see if I could find a 10.5" listing. It's MUCH easier to find 11" units, but I was worried about the flywheel hole pattern.
Did you resurface the flywheel before up-sizing the clutch assembly? What did you end up finding as a replacement 11" kit? (Still searching for a cross to the C5TZ-7550-D that has a 1-1/16". Lots of 1-3/8", but none of the smaller spine-shaft ones...yet)

Reason: add'l info
Seems like Luk is the main game in town for clutches. I saw that brand on Rock Auto, Summit, Amazon....
Napa was my first stop, because I could order it online and pick it up at my local store the same day.
It was in a Napa box, but it was also LUK.
My flywheel had at least two other bolt patterns on it too. I thought that might come in handy since I was changing from a three finger to a diaphragm. But the Luk hat was the same bolt pattern.
In a pinch fellas, a good machine shop can drill new clutch bolt holes in your existing flywheel.
Hockeyx2; I ended up buying a kit from Autozone but the disc had a 11/16 spline. I found an 11” disc with the 1 3/8 spline from Dennis Carpenter.. and yes, I had the flywheel resurfaced. The machine shop is finishing up the balance on the crank with the flywheel and pressure plate attached as well.

That's a bloody good idea, balancing them all at the same time. What are they charging you for a surface/rebalance? I remeasured my clutch disk splines again to make sure of spline size - 1-3/8"! Glad I checked...
My flywheel only has the 1 set of bolt-holes (for 10.5"), but even so, it looks like the 11" should fit. If not (like Mikey says), the machine shop should be able to fix that for me too.
