It is doable. I did mine recently. The one you want to use is a Grant with the old-style three-hole bolt pattern. The adapters for our trucks are limited. It's easier to go with a six-hole steering wheel. There is no three-hole Grant adapter that I know of for OBS trucks. You would have to use a six-hole adapter and then mount a six-hole to three-hole adapter on that to fit the wheel you want to use. Nothing wrong with that. I bought my six-hole adapter on Amazon, Auto Dynasty part # ADHUTL9059BK. Comes in different anodized colors, the downside is no collar to cover it I started making one from PVC pipe, but the found a small stainless steel bowl that will work perfectly. I did find one that was much more expensive and had a collar but more than I wanted to spend. Those were the only two I could find online. If you want to go with the Grant three-hole wheel the six to three adapter was available on Amazon, but not at the moment. You might try eBay. Easier if you go with a six-hole wheel. If you decide you want to use your cruise control you can make a bracket to hold your stock switches and modify the stock contact ring that goes under the steering wheel. I plan to do mine when I have time. Hope this helps.
