Been through my first tank of fuel with an mpg of 11. Standard driving on country roads. Sure hope she starts breaking in soon and I can at least see 14,

That’s what I’ve been at too so far. Only 260 miles right now though. Seems like 14 mpg is what most people are getting after a bit.

Give it some miles they should get better. I just did 1,201 miles past 2 days from SD to OR with some strong head/ cross winds at times, 83.54 gallons (87 octane) with speed limits of 70-80 mph so 75-80 was cruising speed on cruise control. That's 14.37 mpg not shappy at all. Truck has 22,881 on it now. Will be heading back to SD next weekend will compare mileage with a tail wind hopefully.
Here are some #'s for you from my work road trip over the past 10 days SD to OR back to SD. 3,323 miles, 227.6 gal yielding 14.60 mpg as an average during this period.
Here is how it broke down, the 10.07 mpg time was from a lot of idle time on the job site. Most interstate speed was 75-84 mph. There was a little tail wind which helped some on the return trip.

That’s a great record. What is your rear diff. gearing?

That is better than mine gets. What kind of mpg did yours start at when new?
