1998 5.0 flywheel question

Hey everyone,
I have a 5.0 out of a 1998 explorer. I am putting it in a 65 mustang with a T5 transmission. I know most of the later 5.0s use the 50oz flywheel. But I was hoping someone had a little real world experience here. Most 5.0s are hooked to auto transmissions near the end of their run so finding manual transmission info for one is slim to none. A 98 mustang runs a 4.6. I'm thinking I need a 157 tooth 50oz flywheel to mate up to my T5, like a late 80's mustang. I just wanted to ask if the latest 5.0 had anything different than say a 90 or a 95 model year. I'm assuming ford wouldn't make many changes atbthend of production but they do throw a curve ball now and then. Haha

The amount of weight stays the same on the 5.0 engine from 83 till the end of production so you should be able to use any of those wheels without any trouble as long as your pressure plate will bolt up.

I never figured out why Ford changed the crankshaft design and balance factor on the 5.0. It happens at or around the same time that they went to a 1 piece seal on that engine but when the seal changed on the 351 the balance factor was left at 28oz.
