Okay. 2016 F-250 CC 4x4 w/ 6.2L. I have owned this truck for about 3 months. Has driven great and was very impressed with the ride. About 3 weeks ago we were camping and pulling the camper and on the interstate I noticed a slight vibration in the front end and felt it all the way into the wheel. I did have two new tires installed on the rear before the trip and put the older rears into the front. So brand new BFG All Terrains on the rear and the same tires on the front with around 10K on them. When I got back from the trip I took the truck back to the tire shop and had them balance the tires that were moved from the rear. Picked up the truck with no change. It seems to do it more in the 25-60 mph range. Anyways I have a few steering parts that show a little wear when squeezed together with channel locks but they didn’t seem enough to worry about it yet.( Attached Videos).
Possible causes:
1. Bent rim and need to rotate tires back to the rear to confirm.
2. Slightly worn out steering parts that are causing issues.
3. I am going crazy (hope not yet)
4. Your thoughts or suggestions.
Be sure your hubs are both unlocked (I mean internally - not just that you are not in 4WD). One or both hubs failing to unlock can cause vibrations at speed.
