Question
Good evening. New guy here. I have a 2000 Excursion with a 7.3 in it. This is going to be our road trip machine. We have 4 kids, a 32ft bunkhouse trailer that we camp in. Sometimes we just pull a 8x10 enclosed trailer, other times nothing. I want to do a chip and an exhaust system. Which one would be more beneficial to do first? We put around 3000 miles on it so far this summer, 95% of those without the bunkhouse. I used to have an 03 F250 with the 7.3 and that seemed to have more get up and go than the Excursion. Wha5 are you4 thoughts. Thanks. Brian

Depends what your goal is.
Lower EGT the exhaust would be more beneficial
more Torque, a chip will more beneficial.
